From Mounjaro weight-loss injections, self-loathing, anxiety, and depression, to being injection-free and happier than ever before!

Our work together began after she'd had major knee surgery and felt stuck in a rut. The experience had convinced her that it was time to change her outlook and her habits. She wanted a healthier and happier life.

The surgery had limited the exercise she could do, and she had turned to Mounjaro to help kickstart the weight loss she really wanted. The injections worked, but only on the outside. She was losing the weight, but she still couldn't look at photos of herself. The number on the scale had changed; how she felt about herself hadn’t.

This is when she decided on coaching. We started using what I call the “coaching gym” model: the first six months are on a monthly rhythm, the second six months are on a weekly basis. For twelve months we built consistency through frequency, in the same way you'd train a muscle.

She knew this process mattered. If she didn't change her outlook before stopping the Mounjaro, she'd revert to where she started – and she didn't want a result that depended on staying on it forever.

Over the year, the focus gradually shifted from the injections themselves to something underneath them: the habits she'd return to once she came off them, and the beliefs about herself that no jab could touch.

Today, she's injection-free. Her eating habits have changed completely, and as someone who's lived with anxiety and depression for several years, she now describes herself as feeling happier than she ever has. What began as a plan to lose weight became something else entirely: a shift in how she sees herself, on the inside as well as the outside.

“It may seem like an exaggeration, but genuinely my experience with Rebecca has been life changing.”
